Icon development and refinement of IRRI’s visual system to strengthen its institutional visual coherence.

The project was carried out in different stages, according to the needs identified in each phase. One of the main objectives was to unify and develop a set of icons representing the institute’s various sustainability programs, designed for use across reports and manuals.
We conducted a review and adjustment of the typographic system, assigning two typefaces for body text and titles, and an additional one for highlighted notes and annotations in illustrations and infographics.
In addition, visual usage guidelines were developed and applied to infographic and editorial materials, ensuring clear and visually consistent communication across the institute’s different areas.
